Description: Clear coated poplar plywood is an AB/BB face grade plywood coated with two coats of clear UV-hardened acrylic paint. The product is ready to use and does not require polishing or staining. It is suitable for CNC cutting. Healthy for your home, green and sustainable.

Applications: this plywood is ideal for projects that require lightweight yet structurally strong solutions such as caravan, campervan, tiny home. 

Poplar plywood density is 426 kg/m3. Poplar plywood is designed for interior application only. It is used for wall lining, ceilings, carved panels, space dividers, shop fitting and any decorative application.

Poplar plywood is a natural environmentally friendly product manufactured using Poplar veneers  by cross bonding. This plywood lighter than Birch or Pine Plywood.

As a comparison, one standard sheet of poplar plywood 2440x1220x18mm weighs 23 kg. Birch plywood sheet of the same size weights 39 kg, pine plywood sheet is 35 kg.

This makes poplar plywood a perfect product for wall and ceiling panelling. Green and sustainable.

Appearance grades of the Poplar Plywood:

AB – Face grade ideal for staining, lacquering, painting. Few pin knots or healthy and adhering knots without cracks. A very light in contrast discoloration is allowed as well as good quality putty or repair work that blends in with the rest of the surface.

BB – natural face with colour variations and healthy knots, suitable for coating with laminates, colour paints or varnishes. May contain healthy adhering knots size up to 35 mm in diameter.
